Simon Community Northern Ireland

Ending Homelessness, Changing Lives

The Simon Community Northern Ireland, the region's leading homelessness charity. Established in 1971, Simon Community NI works tirelessly to support individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness. With a vision of everyone having a home, they provide vital services including accommodation, support, and advice to those in need.

What They Do:

  • Accommodation Services: Offering over 380 warm beds each night across various locations, providing a safe haven for those without a home.

  • Homelessness Prevention: Working proactively to prevent homelessness through education, outreach, and support services.

  • Health and Wellbeing Programs: Addressing the physical and mental health needs of clients, ensuring holistic support.

Impact:

  • In the past year, they have supported over 3,000 individuals, helping them transition from homelessness to independent living.

  • Their 24/7 helpline received over 17,000 calls, providing immediate assistance and guidance.
